SOMERSET — Taylor R. McCauley of Somerset, was among the students who received a doctor of osteopathic medicine (D.O.) degree from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine at the college’s April 18 degree conferral.
The child of Michelle and Richard McCauley of Somerset, in 2016 Dr. McCauley earned a B.S. in biological sciences from Ohio University, and is a 2012 graduate of Sheridan High School in Thornville. After graduation, Dr. McCauley will begin a residency in psychiatry at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.
The 2020 graduating class was the 41st to graduate from the Heritage College, which was created by the Ohio Legislature in 1975, and is the only institution in the state accredited to educate osteopathic physicians.
