LANCASTER — A Perry County family is ringing in the New Year with a new baby boy born at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster.
“It was a special moment,” mother Fairhen Boggs told The Perry County Tribune. “I wasn’t expecting him to be here so soon.”
The first baby of 2020 was born at 12:28 a.m. at the FMC on Wednesday, Jan 1. Baby Wyatt and mother, are natives of the Village of New Lexington in Perry County. The two received a First Baby of FMC gift basket filled with personal items, diapers, a blanket and chocolates.
“Congratulations to mom and baby and best wishes for a happy new year,” a FMC representative stated.
Wyatt weighed five pounds and eight ounces and was measured at 19 inches long.
“He was a couple weeks early,” Boggs commented. “I was so excited to see him.”
