ATHENS – More than 1,900 students graduated with bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degrees from Ohio University for summer semester 2021, including a number from Perry County.

Students included:

Amanda Smith from Somerset graduated with an associate in applied science (associate in nursing) from the College of Health Sciences and Professions at Ohio University during the summer 2021 semester.

Carson Miller from Corning graduated with an associate in applied science (associate in nursing) from the College of Health Sciences and Professions at Ohio University during the summer 2021 semester.

Jaylynn Skeenes from Crooksville graduated with an associate in applied science (associate in nursing) from the College of Health Sciences and Professions at Ohio University during the summer 2021 semester.

Kaytlyn Findlay from New Lexington graduated with an associate in applied science (associate in nursing) from the College of Health Sciences and Professions at Ohio University during the summer 2021 semester.

Mara O’Connor from New Lexington graduated with an associate in applied science (associate in nursing) from the College of Health Sciences and Professions at Ohio University during the summer 2021 semester.

Matthew Rhodes from Roseville graduated with an associate in arts (arts and humanities emphasis) from the University College at Ohio University during the summer 2021 semester.

Andrew Jenkins from New Straitsville graduated with an associate in science from the University College at Ohio University during the summer 2021 semester.

Ruger Evancho from Mount Perry graduated with an associate in science from the University College at Ohio University during the summer 2021 semester.

Jalyn Seals from Crooksville graduated with a bachelor of arts majoring in psychology and sociology–criminology from the College of Arts and Sciences at Ohio University during the summer 2021 semester.

Jarrod Allen from New Lexington graduated with a bachelor of science in communication majoring in applied communication from the Scripps College of Communication at Ohio University during the summer 2021 semester.

Dustin O’Neal from Crooksville graduated with a bachelor of science in food and nutrition sciences majoring in applied nutrition from the College of Health Sciences and Professions at Ohio University during the summer 2021 semester.

Emily Mullins from Glenford graduated with a master of science in environmental studies from the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service at Ohio University during the summer 2021 semester.

The graduates represented many areas of the United States and an abundance of countries, including: Bangladesh, China, Germany, Ghana, India, Netherlands and Nigeria, among others.
