• James Guisinger violated probation for theft of a credit card, a fifth-degree felony. He was ordered to pay court costs; his community control was continued and extended by one year; and he was ordered to attend and successfully complete a transitional program after successfully completing the STAR Program.

• Phillip Traugh violated probation for aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. He was ordered to pay court costs; his community control was continued and extended by one year; and he was ordered to attend and successfully complete the STAR Program.

• Shane Hiles pled guilty to grand theft of a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony; two counts of breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony, and vandalism, a fifth-degree felony. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered, and a sentencing hearing will be set.

• Judd Beach pled guilty to domestic violence, a third-degree felony, and assault, a first-degree misdemeanor. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered, and a sentencing hearing will be set.

Week of Oct. 3

Criminal

• Daniel Joe Smith, Jr., was convicted of attempted aggravated burglary, a second-degree felony, and criminal damaging, a second-degree misdemeanor. He was sentenced to four to six years in prison, and ordered to pay court costs and $1,350 in restitution.

• Jaden Dennis pled guilty to possession of a fentanyl-related compound, a fifth-degree felony. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered, and a sentencing hearing will be set.
