The Probate Court this week heard three final account hearings and one contested trust case concerning terminating the trust.
The Perry County Free Legal Clinic was held on Oct. 1. The clinic was stated in September of 2008 by Judge Cooperrider, Judge Wilson and Southeastern Legal Aid. Eight individuals were helped at the clinic. Volunteer lawyers were Rolf Whitney, Matt Mollica and Lora Mann.
Judge Cooperrider signed one search warrant for the Perry County Drug Task Force. Judge Cooperrider performed one marriage ceremony.
During the month of September, the following cases were filed in Probate Court, under the direction of Judge Luann Cooperrider: one minor name change, two adult name changed, one miscellaneous and one disinterment. There were 22 marriage licenses issued during the month, and Judge Cooperrider performed five wedding ceremonies.
