THORNVILLE — On their senior night on Sept. 22, the Generals picked up wins for both teams, the boys and girls.
Sheridan was led by William Wilke in the boys race with his time of 16:34 for the top spot on the podium.
Following through the finish like, Raine Rodich (17:39) came in second, Elijah Devoll (17:55) took third and Evan Powell (18:43) took fifth.
The Generals were broken up by Crooksville’s Lee Osborn in fourth place with a time of 18:27.
To round out the rest of the top 10 finishes, Sheridan had John Skinner (18:53) take sixth, Hugh Sweazy (19:24) take seventh and Vann Emmert (20:35) take eighth.
Crooksville’s Preston Hunter found a crossing time of 20:53 to keep him in the top 15, and Sheridan’s Nathan Grant had the 14th spot with his time of 22:37.
Crooksville’s runners finished out with Trevor Bowen (23:55) in 16th, Landon Addington (23:58) in 17th and Cameron Beaver (26:53) in 18th.
Sheridan had the team score of 17 for first and Crooksville’s team score was 64 for third.
Sheridan’s Jensen Wolfe led the girls race with her first-place finish of 21:54.
Her teammates, Katelyn Heath (22:31), Addison Smith (22:31) and Faith Covey (23:41) took second, third and fourth
Crooksville’s Samantha Reed found a spot in the top 10 with a sixth-place finish and a time of 25 minutes and one second.
Sheridan’s runners rounded out in spots 10-12. Alex Finck had a time of 26:50, Abby Clouse had a time of 26:51 and Gabby Shank had a time of 26:51 to tie.
Crooksville’s Grace Sheets took 13th with a time of 27:08 and her teammate, Jada May, rounded out the Lady Ceramics with a time of 30 minutes and 13 seconds.
Sheridan took the team win with a score of 19.
