CROOKSVILLE — The Lady Ceramics faced a hard battle when facing Meadowbrook on Sept. 15, a top contender in the MVL.

In three sets, Crooksville fell to the Lady Colts: 9-25; 10-25; 10-25.

Crooksville’s saving grace was their libero, Jailynn Theisen. Her 14 digs in the back halted some strong kills Meadowbrook is capable of.

On offense, between Logyn Chamberlin, Alli Theisen and Grace Frame, Crooksville totaled more than five kills.

Crooksville’s junior varsity took the two-set loss to Meadowbrook, 7-25 and 11-25.
