The New Lex Lady Panthers rattled off four wins in four days to clinch a share of the MVL title.

On Jan 27, they welcomed Crooksville to the jungle with an emphatic 67-37 win to start their week.

The next day, on Jan 28, New Lex traveled to Zanesville to take on the Blue Devils. There, they used a strong first half performance to earn a 52-36 victory.

“We’re just playing at a really high level right now,” Head Coach Jay Chadwell said of the Zanesville win. “The leaders are coming out and motivating us early, and of course Abby Wilson off the bench is such a spark for us right now.”

From there, the Lady Panthers traveled to Crooksville to play the Lady Ceramics in their second matchup in three days. New Lex didn’t lose their stride, crushing Crooksville again 57-33.

Their fourth game in as many days took them to Coshocton, where they again dominated and won 60-26. That win cemented a perfect record in league play at 8-0 and overall record of 13-3.
