Track and Field regionals are this week, and with many Perry County individuals as well as two teams advancing, here is the lowdown on the who, when, and where.
DIVISION I REGION 3 PICKERINGTON – Pickerington High School North, 7800 Refugee Rd, Pickerington, 43147.

The Division I boy’s regional has three Generals competing: Logan Ranft, Cooper Winders and Luke Foster. Foster will compete in the 3200-meter run, and Winders in the 800-meter run. Ranft will compete in the high jump, long jump, 300-meter hurdles and 110-meter hurdles.

In Division II, girls from both New Lexington and District Champion Sheridan will be present. Rylee Rodich and Trinity Nobles will represent the Lady Generals in the pole vault. Brooklyn Heller will compete in long jump. Claire Shriner will take part in the 100-meter hurdles and 300-meter hurdles. Julie Nichols will compete in the 100-meter dash. Katelyn Heath will be in the 200-meter and 400-meter dash events.
Sheridan’s Ava Hamner, Savannah Ramirez, Miranda Ellars and Shriner will team up for the 4x400-meter relay.
New Lex’s Sydney Hambel will compete in both the 3200-meter and 1600-meter runs. Hambel will also team up with McKenna Pingle, Grace Baker, and Emma Abrams in the 4x800-meter relay.
The Lady Panther foursome of Pingle, Nora Duperow, Hannah Spurgus and Isabella Starlin will run in the 4x200-meter relay, while the team of Spurgus, Duperow, Abrams and Starlin will take part in the 4x100-meter relay.
DIVISION III REGION 11 CHILLICOTHE – Southeastern High School – 2003 Lancaster Road; Chillicothe, 45601

In Division 3, it’s all Crooksville as both the boys and the girls qualified runners to regionals. The District Champion Lady Ceramics will once again be led by Greta Barker, who’s taking part in the long jump, 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash (Barker was district champion in those events).
Barker will also team up with Haliegh Willison, Logyn Chamberlin and Lelila Kennedy for the 4x100-meter relay after the foursome won the district title in that event.
Willison, Chamberlin, Kennedy, and Allison Baughman won the 4x200-meter relay at the district meet and will go for the regional title.
In the field for the Lady Ceramics, Grace Frame will compete in both the shot put and discus events after second and third place finishes at districts, respectively.
For the boys’ team, both Blaze Hunter and Lee Osborne will feature. Osborne will compete in the 3200-meter run, and Hunter in the 800-meter run.
