CROOKSVILLE — After falling in the first set, the Lady Ceramics took two set wins in the second and third set over Lakewood, but falling by three points in the fifth set put the loss on their record on Oct. 14.
Crooksville's offense was led strictly by Haleigh Willison with over 15 kills. She kept up the defense as well with multiple digs and blocks.
Willison added a few aces to her stats to hold her Lady Ceramics to some points.
Crooksville's back row defense was no joke with 97 total digs between Logyn Chamberlin, Alli Theisen, Lelila Kennedy and Taisia Riggs.
Riggs assists in 29 points as well with Willison and Grace Frame.
The set scores were a loss in the first, 18-25, a win in the second, 25-22, a loss in the third, 13-25, but a win in the fourth, 26-24.
The back-and-forth night led to a fifth set where the final was 12-15 in favor of Lakewood.
Crooksville's junior varsity took the two-set loss to Lakewood's junior varsity, 21-25 and 18-25.
