CROOKSVILLE — The Lady Panthers had a defensive win to take the 3-0 victory over Crooksville on Oct. 6.

As the sets moved forward, Crooksville’s offense showed up slowly. New Lexington had the first set sealed with a 25-10 score.

Between Bailey Metzger, Nora Duperow and Braya Jones, New Lexington had a wall of a back row in their rotation to hold Crooksville to little points.

Crooksville gained some offensive momentum in Grace Frame in the second set as they found 19 points, but still fell to New Lexington.

The third set was the battle of the night with a 25-21 score.

Alli Theisen was leading her Lady Ceramics with over 20 digs for the night, and in the back row, Lelila Kennedy and Logyn Chamberlin were totaling up 30 digs.

New Lexington’s junior varsity took the two-set victory over Crooksville, 25-16 and 25-17.
