THORNVILLE — The Lady Generals faced their MVL rival, John Glenn, on Sept. 9 and came out with the victory, keeping them undefeated and in the running for the MVL title.
The Lady Generals lost their first set of the season in the second set against the Lady Muskies.
In the first set, Sheridan took the 25-16 score with a series of kills for momentum over the Lady Muskies.
In the second set, John Glenn flipped the strength and began their power at the net to get the win over Sheridan in a 25-18 set.
The third set was when the ball started rolling for Sheridan with a 25-16 win again, followed by a fourth-set 25-18 win.
Senior Grace Conrad was determined against their big competition as she totaled 44 assists and had a perfect serving stat.
Between her, Brooklyn Heller and Kaley McCandlish, the Lady Generals had 71 digs in the back from John Glenn's kill attempts.
Ally Perkins was the hammer at the net for the Lady Generals, getting in the low 20s with her kills.
On the junior varsity level, Sheridan took the three-set win over John Glenn, 23-25, 25-19 and 25-15.
