Sheridan junior Jamisyn Stinson collected her 1,000th career point while leading Sheridan to wins against Maysville 67-24, and River View 64-21.
On Wednesday, the Generals welcomed the Panthers of Maysville for an MVL Big School matchup. Stinson needed nine points entering the game to reach 1,000 for her career. She didn’t wait long, scoring 15 points in the first to become just the 10th player in Sheridan history to join the 1,000-point club, and the first junior to ever accomplish the milestone. Stinson would go on to finish the game with 33 points, including four from beyond the arc. Ava Heller scored 11 points, while snagging seven rebounds. Halle Warner added eight points, four assists, four steals, and three rebounds.
On Saturday the Generals traveled to River View. Stinson didn’t miss a beat, picking up where she left off on Wednesday. She dropped in 38 points, including eight threes, 10 rebounds, seven steals, and five assists in just three quarters before exiting the lopsided game. Halle Warner chipped in 11 points of her own, along with seven assists, four rebounds, and three steals. Mylie Forgrave added six steals, six rebounds, and five assists in the winning effort.
