ROSEVILLE — Fishing is a great way to pass the time, but free fishing is a better attraction all the way around the pond.
The Energy Cooperative, Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) and Village of Roseville teamed up to host a free fishing day for all ages up to 17-years-old.
The event is to take place this Friday, July 12, at Roseville’s Conservancy Park.
If a young child is attending the event, parents/guardians are required to attend with them.
The day will be completed with free food and drinks, along with contests and prizes.
Tackle, bait, line and hooks will be provided by the sponsers, but everyone should bring their pole and join the fun at the park.
To be included in the fishing fun, register for the event by 5:45 p.m. and head to State Route 93 on Fultonrose Road.
