NEW LEXINGTON — With a 51-17 victory over Tri-Valley, the Panthers’ wrestlers completed their Senior Night on a good note.
Two Panthers appeared in the 106-weight class for the dual, Harley Gottke and Ethan Burkhart.
Gottke took the 21-second win by pin for himself, and Burkhart pinned his opponent in 20 seconds.
Blake Sheppard took his solo role in the 120-weight class for a major decisioned win, 14-5.
Kody Beal (126) kept the winning streak alive with his major decisioned win over Garrett Folden, 19-5.
A loss fell upon Isaiah Waggoner (132) when he was pinned Joseph Eckelberry in 40 seconds.
The streak stayed alive with Shawn Pletcher’s (138) major decision win, 13-4, and Trey Helwig’s (145) pin in 3:32 time.
In the 152-weight class, Simon Allen pinned his opponent, Spencer Campbell, in one minute and five seconds.
More hardship fell upon Hayden Clark in the 160-weight class as he had a technical fall, 16-0.
Layne Talbot (170) had the major decision win, 11-3, to start up match wins again.
Jeff Longhenry (182) and Brandon Toner (195) each pinned their opponents for two more wins; Longhenry in 35 seconds and Toner in 2:30 time.
Titan Blair (220) and Jacob Danielson (285) each took losses by decisions; Blair was 2-1 and Danielson was 4-2.
