NEW LEXINGTON – On Monday, the first official practice day for OHSAA fall sports, The New Lexington Girls soccer team took to the field for the first time. But the Lady Panthers will play this season without one of their pioneers.

The Lady Panthers, entering their fourth season as a program, will rely on the leadership of their seniors. Andrea Groves, Aleena Carson, and Tessa Hubble. But one face that won’t be on the field to join them this season is Senior Bella Decot. Bella was diagnosed with cancer after finding a brain tumor.
